Web Application & API Development
Most of the systems in our case studies have a web application or an API at the front of them. We build those too - sometimes as the whole engagement, more often alongside the cloud and delivery work that makes them run.
The difference from a typical agency build: we are infrastructure engineers first. Applications we ship arrive with the unglamorous parts already done - pipelines, environments, secrets handling, observability, backups - because those are the parts someone would otherwise have to retrofit in year two.
What we build
APIs and backends
- REST and GraphQL APIs in front of complex domains
- Multi-tenant SaaS backends: tenancy models, isolation, rate limiting
- Event-driven services on queues and streams
- Integrations with payment, identity, and third-party providers
Frontends
- React, Next.js, Vue, and Angular applications
- Customer portals and dashboards
- Internal tools that operations teams actually use
The parts most builds skip
- CI/CD from the first commit, not the last sprint
- Logs, traces, and metrics wired in before launch
- Load testing against realistic traffic, not a demo dataset
- Security headers, dependency scanning, and least-privilege access by default
How we work
- Scope - agree in writing what “done” means before anyone writes code
- Architecture - boring, proven stack choices unless there is a specific reason not to
- Build - senior engineers, code review on everything, short feedback cycles
- Ship - progressive rollout with monitoring, not a launch-day cliff
- Hand over - documentation and a system your team can operate without calling us
When this is the wrong service
If you want the cheapest possible MVP to test an idea, a no-code tool or a template will get you there faster and we will say so. We are the right call when the application has to survive real users, real data, and eventually a real audit.
