Mobile Development.

Cross-platform mobile apps with a properly engineered backend behind them - and native builds when the product genuinely needs them.

Mobile Development

We build mobile apps the way we build everything else: senior engineers, proven tools, and no appetite for maintaining two codebases when one will do.

Cross-platform (Flutter or React Native) is our default because for most products it is the right economics. Native Swift or Kotlin is for when the product genuinely needs it - deep platform integration, demanding graphics, or hardware access that cross-platform tooling handles badly. We will tell you which case yours is before you commit a budget to it.

What we build

The app

  • Flutter and React Native applications for iOS and Android
  • Native Swift and Kotlin builds where the product justifies them
  • Offline support and background sync where the use case demands it

The backend behind it

  • The APIs, authentication, and push infrastructure the app actually runs on
  • Cloud backends sized for mobile traffic patterns: spiky, global, unforgiving
  • Crash reporting and analytics wired in from the first internal build

Release engineering

  • Signed, reproducible builds in CI
  • App Store and Play Store pipelines with staged rollouts
  • A versioning and rollback story for the release that goes wrong

How we work

  1. Platform call - cross-platform or native, decided on evidence, in writing
  2. Build - short cycles, with working builds on your phone from the early weeks
  3. Test - real devices and real network conditions, not just simulators
  4. Ship and iterate - staged rollouts, crash monitoring, and a cadence for updates

When this is the wrong service

If your “app” is really a website your users should be able to install, a progressive web app costs a fraction of a store app - and we will say so in the first call. We are the right fit when the product needs to live on the device: notifications, offline work, hardware, or a serious backend behind it.

- Outcomes

What this engagement delivers.

01
One codebase by default
Cross-platform first, because maintaining two native codebases is a cost, not a badge. Native when the product earns it.
02
A real backend
The APIs, auth, and push infrastructure behind the app get the same engineering rigor as our cloud work - because they are our cloud work.
03
Releases from CI
Signed, reproducible builds and store pipelines with staged rollouts. No releases from someone's laptop.
04
Honest platform advice
If a well-built PWA is the cheaper right answer, we will tell you before you spend an app-store budget finding out.
